When you contact us by phone or email we will take some information from you and get an initial idea of what you are looking for and for when you will need the service. After you book the service we will send you an email confirmation with all the information about our company and the housekeeper assigned to your home. All of the housekeepers listed on our agency are independent professionals, who have been screened.
We recommend that, for the first cleaning, you do a walk-through with the housekeeper so that he or she understands exactly what your expectations are for the service. It’s always a good idea to provide a list of your priorities, if possible, so that they focus on exactly what is most important to you. The cleaners will tell you how long the job will take before they start, and if you would like them to spend less time than what the full job would entail, they would be happy to focus on whatever items are most important, to finish within the time that your budget allows for. Once you have finished going over these details you can relax, knowing that your home will be taken care of by professionals.
Once the cleaning is done, it would be a good idea to go through the house again, to give feedback to the cleaner, so that he or she understands if the service has fulfilled your expectations. Since the same cleaner would return for the next cleaning, if you get on schedule, then it’s important to be clear about exactly what it is that matters to you. In this way, there will be no surprises and the cleaning will consistently address your concerns and priorities.
If possible, it is also helpful to do a post-cleaning walk-thru with the cleaner, giving both you and your housekeeper the opportunity to discuss the work, to re-address any areas if necessary and to make follow up arrangements.
After the first time cleaning appointment the housekeeper will provide you a flat rate per visit which can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
